About The Tour...

The Carolina Mountain Tour is currently in its 16th year {2012} of operation. The tour has consistently put together an outstanding schedule and it is especially coordinated and spaced out to not conflict with any other developmental tours in the Southeast. The CMPT continues to operate primarily for the aspiring professional, as well as very serious amateurs. Most events take place on Monday and/or Tuesday and most are 18-hole or 36-hole stroke play events. We hope that playing on Monday or Tuesday will make it convenient for the majority of our region's mini tour players who will most likely be playing 54-hole events later in the week.

We greatly appreciate your interest in the Mountain Tour and hope that you can find personal benefit and pleasure by playing with us in 2012!

WHAT ACCOMPLISHED PLAYERS ARE SAYING ABOUT THE MOUNTAIN TOUR...

William McGirt,  (2011 & 2012 PGA Tour Card Recipient)... "The Mountain Tour has been really good for me, I can't put into words how much it has helped. While you're not going to get rich out here, it has allowed me to work on some things in my game and try some stuff in tournament conditions... things I might not do just yet in other tournaments and I get to try putting those things into play under tournament pressure."

Ben Duncan,  (Member of Clemson 2003 National Champion Team)... "You have to compete to stay sharp both mentally and physically and there is no better place to do so than the Carolina Mountain Tour. The tour plays great courses and with a potential for over a 500% return on your money in a one day event - that's hard to beat...."

Josh Gallman,  (2011 Money Winner)..."The Mountain Tour has helped me in many different ways. Knowing that most of the events are only 18-holes, you have to prepare yourself mentally to go low and this has helped me better prepare for Nationwide and PGA Tour monday qualifiers. The Mountain Tour competes on great golf courses and portrays a fun but competitive environment."

David Siegel,  (President - eGolf Professional Tour) ..."The Carolina Mountain Tour is an excellent option for players looking to play affordable one-day events in the Carolinas....."

Michael Lawrence, Jr.,  (3-Time Winner on the Mountain Tour)... "The Carolina Mountain Tour is a very competitive tour. It has helped me learn to play professional golf under tournament pressure. I would recommend playing the tour to any aspiring professional or amateur player."

Brent Delahoussaye, (2010 PGA Tour Card Recipient)...."I think the tour is great, it has talented players, great courses, and the competition is very strong. I would recommend it to everyone who is trying to play....."

Jose Alvarez,  (FCA Golf - Nationwide TourLife Representative & Former Atlanta Braves Pitcher)....  "The Carolina Mountain Tour serves largely as a vehicle for aspiring professional golfers hoping to hone in their games and pick up a little cash...."
