Tony has been in the golf industry since 1975. He has served his apprenticeship as an assistant pro at a 36 hole private country club with over 750 members and has been the head professional at two golf clubs over the past 27 years. Currently he is the Manager / Director of Golf at Red Fox Country Club in Tryon, North Carolina.

He has competed professionally in the USA on mini and major Tours. International campaigns include tours on the European Tour, South African PGA Tour, Australian / New Zealand Tour, Asian Tour, South American Tour, Canadian Tour, spanning 35 different countries around the world.

Served as The United States recruiting agent for the South African PGA Tour. President & Owner of The South African Golf Tour Agency that managed the early careers of Corey Pavin, Bob Tway, John Daly, Tom Lehman, Bob Ford and over 400 other golf professionals.

Vice President and Partner of Sports International, a world wide sports management company that involved, creating, planning, managing, promoting and marketing major sports events around the world.

Worked as Television Commentator for The South African Broadcasting Television Company, Topsport, that Included The Million Dollar Challenge at Sun City, South Africa broadcasted around the world.

Through his respectful experience in golf has created & initiated The Carolina Mountain Golf Tour with the hopes of offering a level of competition to our Carolina Professionals who want to keep or test their competitive skills among their peers.

The Tour
The Carolina Mountain Golf Tour is an approved and sanctioned Tour by The Carolinas PGA making it acceptable for section members to participate.

The CMT, now in its 13th year of operation has put together an outstanding schedule; it is especially coordinated and spaced out to not conflict with The Carolinas PGA, the Mountains Chapter or any other Tours in the area. The CMT has been organized for the aspiring professional and serious amateurs.  Most events are 18 holes and played on Mondays making it convenient for the working Club Pro and Assistant Pro and mini tour pros who play 54 hole events later in the week.

We have streamlined the operating cost to maximize the purses and to keep entry fees low and affordable for all with a high return. Efforts are being made to obtain sponsorship but for now our purses are generated from entry fees. Obviously the more players, the higher the purses. We will continue to guarantee 100% return of entry fees back to the purse less course cost, PGA sanction fees. The only money used to compensate operational expense is from membership fees. We offer the best and well conditioned courses we are blessed with here in the Carolinas.
We have the perfect climate and golfing environment that can not be matched anywhere else in this country.
